With a refined design and innovative technology, the Crown offers both luxury and efficiency in one seamless package. Whether you’re cruising on the highway or navigating city streets, this vehicle delivers both comfort and performance.

Performance and Handling

The Crown is one of the few hybrid sedans with standard all-wheel drive. The base powertrain provides 236 horsepower and comes with a continuously variable automatic transmission. An optional turbocharged version delivers 340 hp and features a six-speed automatic. You’ll get up to 41 combined city and highway miles per gallon with the standard Crown. It’s available with your choice of 19-inch or 20-inch wheels in several styles.

Cabin Design and Amenities

This sedan provides more than 15 cubic feet of trunk space and offers an optional hands-free power liftgate. The Crown comes with many standard comfort and convenience features, including a push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a universal garage door opener. The interior features black leather upholstery in the base model and an array of available leather hues in higher trims.

You’ll also have heated and ventilated front seats, a heated leather-trimmed steering wheel, a leather-trimmed shift knob, and heated rear seats across the lineup. The cabin includes two cupholders in the front and two in the rear. You can add a panoramic glass roof with a power sunshade.

Safety and Driver Assistance

The Crown earned a five-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which is the agency’s highest possible score. The sedan is packed with driver assistance tech across the lineup including automatic high beams, traffic sign recognition, safe exit assist, rear seat alert, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, lane-trace assist, lane-keep assist, pedestrian detection, and forward collision warning.

Higher trims add front and rear parking sensors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and reverse automatic emergency braking. The top-tier Crown trim includes a 10-inch head-up display that projects key info like driving directions onto the dashboard. Some models replace the standard LED projector headlights with quad LEDs. You’ll also have standard LED taillights and daytime running lights. Traffic jam assist and front cross-traffic alert features are available.

Connectivity Tech

The cockpit of the Crown has state-of-the-art tech including dual 12.3-inch screens, wireless charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and the wireless versions of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The sedan also has five USB ports throughout the cabin and a six-speaker stereo with satellite radio. You can upgrade the audio to an optional 11-speaker JBL system and add the available digital key to access and start your Crown with your smartphone.
